The label’s latest release is an EP from an Irish artist Khynes that is now making waves across Australia’s gold coast. ‘Common Synths EP’ will greet listeners and ravers on June 3rd, 2022. Happy accidents and cleverly resampled sounds make up a good chunk of the EP that brings out a funkier side, boasting a feel-good vibe that will be easily recognised in any club. ‘Common Synths’ started off from the idea of building a track around familiar House music synths that were commonly utilised throughout the 90’s. After the initial idea was created vocals were sampled from interviews about the rave scene at that time to create the right fit for this groovy minimal tech track. ‘Headphones’ is a straight up minimal groover that will entice any dance floor to move to the tracks funky groove. The interesting drums and synth movements work alongside catchy vocal hooks that compliment a funk infused baseline that make for an unforgettable sound. ‘Khynes’ goal was to ‘inject a boost of funk driven feel good energy into the club’ and he clearly mastered this with the EP’s memorable groovers which are a real treat that differ from his usual darker minimal side.
